We often tend feel discouraged, unsuccessful and devastated on experiencing a failures. Even the positive words from our well wisher seem to be pricking your heart. It is indeed very important to get out of such a situation and the best way to do this is to motivate yourself on your own. yes it is only that self motivation or the Self Help which helps us to overcome the repetitive feeling of failures. Self help or rather self improvement as most us are aware is a practice of motivating your own self whether it be intellectually, emotionally, or economically by molding your negative thoughts into positive one’s, overlooking the past defeats and overcoming the present difficulties and obstacles in any aspect of your life be it professional or personal. Self help is more often done by changing the psychological expression of one’s own self. There are various ways to self help. Like joining discussion or support groups where people suffering with similar problems bring out their feelings and share their thoughts with one another, making use of public information by reading books, articles on self help , attending seminars or meetings related to self development programs or simply one can motivate himself on his own as well. |

When you get a new job, remember that the first days are important to make your new co-workers like you. This article will teach you how to act during your first days at a new job. The accommodation period lasts at least three months, during which people won’t judge you based on professional achievements but on your image. Respect the dress code of the company, but do so that makes you look good. This will give you more confidence. Despite the stress and worry you deal with, your attitude must stay relaxed and communicate trust. When speaking with your colleagues, don’t be shy. Let them know things about you but do not tell everything – create some mystery. However, during the accommodation period, don’t speak negatively about your previous job. Don’t talk about how efficient working there really was, etc. Remember that you are not working there anymore and that your comparisons could be annoying. Also, stop yourself from giving advice or from making observations. New people in the office don’t have this privilege. |

If you are having problems in your personal life, and beginning to doubt your ability to cope with your issues on your own, you probably are thinking about getting advice from someone else. Sometimes, it’s hard to see our way through our problems because we are so closely involved. Sometimes it takes a set of eyes and ears from someone who is not actively involved to get a clear answer. Some people turn to counselors to help them work through their problems, while others turn to self help books. Self help books have been popular for the last two decades, and continue to be popular today. You can find self help books to help you with almost any condition or problem you can think of, and you may have a hard time choosing the book that is right for you. There are so many books that become immensely popular, and they become a must have on everyone’s shopping list. The trouble with this is that self help books that work for one person may not work as well for someone else. |

If you are reading this article, you are probably a person who blushes easily, loses his or her breath, remains speechless and has trembling knees in certain instances? You might think it is one of the worst situations a person can be in. But specialists say you’re wrong. Shy people are those who go to the grocery store and are reluctant to talk with the cashier. They blush before saying anything. When they speak they never talk loud enough, so they must say it again. And it seems to get worse every time. The more they try not to blush, the redder they become. |

The person you are today, your morals and your self-concept, depends on the events you have experienced. It is not difficult to find links between a past happening and a present thought or feeling, no matter how distant it might feel. The source of present feelings can be discovered by returning to certain memories, and this practice will show you how. You will be able to reinterpret yourself by learning to accept and understand you actions instead of judging them. Find a comfortable position in a chair. Have something to write on and a pen ready beside you. Relax your self and breathe slowly through your nose. When you have entered a state of higher self-awareness, return in time and remember an unpleasant memory that has marked your whole life. It doesn’t have to be dramatic – in childhood, for example, even an insignificant item may have a significant impact on your personality. Perhaps, as a child, you broke a valuable vase that your mother loved. She may have told you, "You can’t do anything right!" Of course, her reaction was simply anger-based and likely disappeared shortly, but you, as a child, may have been deeply affected by it. |

We all want to be successful but we usually rely on luck to achieve our goals. A good example of this is someone who wants to get rich but who only plays the Lotto to try to obtain wealth. The chances of becoming rich overnight are unlikely. Designing a realistic plan to achieve your goals is important in any case, no matter how high or low your aspirations are. One effective way is to take carefully planned steps toward your goal. Compare your goals with a swimming competition. First, to have a chance to win the race, you must make sure you are not afraid of the water. Before you even enter the race, you must overcome your fears. They may hold you back, but some of them might prevent you from getting hurt or from failing. |

Fate, destiny, resignation – in certain contexts, those words could seem to be synonyms. But what if you’ve been a fighter for your entire life and simply will not surrender in certain situations? Can we go against our destiny? Can we truly follow the path we want to follow in life? All these questions have to definitive answers. But our determination and strength can overcome the obstacles we face before reaching the highest aspirations of our lives. Many people who have been successful in areas such as business, sports, science, etc., admit that fate seemed to be against them at certain points in their careers. Most of them had different lives before finding success and are proud to have lived through those times. It was difficult, most of them say, but they wanted to get to the top badly. Nothing could have stopped them from getting where they wanted to go. They acknowledge that they never believed they would become so famous or successful. |
